LabWindows ® , a product of National Instruments, is a software development system for creating data-acquisition and instrument control applications. Programs can be created, compiled, and debugged in an interactive environment, using LabWindows subsets of either C language or QuickBASIC. A set of library functions are available for acquisition, analysis, and presentation of data. Special interfaces called function panels facilitate generation of the code for library functions [ 1 , 2 , 3 ].
