The previous two decades have been seen the interest has risen considerably for developing solution to improve the performance of power system in optimal energy consumption and energy management. The behaviour of the consumer conception is entirely based on the strategies of DRP-Demand response programs . In this research work, Hybrid Demand Response Program (DRP) is developed by utilising Time of use (ToU) and incentive based programs to reduce peak over load and cost of energy. To overcome the demand in the load, A hybrid renewable energy system using solar photo voltaic system and energy storage system has been proposed withoptimal sizing of Distributed Generation (DG). Based on our findings, we concluded that a hybrid demand response program integrated with HRES reduced peak demand by 5% to 8%, leading to an overall reduction in energy costs through the use of heuristic optimization techniques.
