This article deals with the methods of data protection fromcomputer viruses. The following work has analyzed ways of protection by usingorganizational and programmatic measures. Antivirus programs have been listedand the algorithm of their action has been considered. The relevance of this issueis due to the fact that with the advent of computer viruses, almost every user hasfaced the problem of computer infection and the massive spread of virus programsinterfering with the normal operation of the computer, as well as damaging dataand information stored on the computer.
