DIA4M: A Tool to Streamline DevOps Processes of Distributed Cloud-Native Systems
Eren Tarak, H. Hakan Kılınç · 2024
While microservices architecture is an ideal approach for DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CIICD), theoretical advantages can often lead to practical challenges. Effective quality assurance (QA) for microservices requires strategies to simplify overall maintenance. Common issues include numerous bugs, regressions during the QA phase, and late detection of problems. This work introduces a new tool, Discovery of Interactions and Anomalies for Microservices (DIA4M), which provides features for clear situational awareness, prioritization and strategic initiation within the DevOps process. The application of this tool is demonstrated within an industrial context in the ITEA3 SmartDelta project.
