Key Authentication for Disguised Data Priority Attack in DTN

DTN (Delay Tolerant Networking) is useful way to spread mitigation information toward victims during disasters. However, there are risks that malicious data generated by attackers could be relayed during data transmission. If this attack can be prevented, it is possible to securely propagate public data such as evacuation information without being hampered by disguised data. This paper proposes a public key authentication method that aims to discard disguised data through authentication and realize secure data transmission. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method, and it can be maintaining a high propagation rate of the high priority data with suppressing the propagation rate of all malicious data. We could reduce the propagation rate of disguised data up to 87%.
