Second–Order Generalized Derivatives : Relationships with Convergence Notions

Jean‐Paul Penot · 2024

During the last few years the interests of several researchers in nonsmooth analysis have moved from first-order objects to second-order concepts. This does not mean that no more progress can appear with first-order notions; it only means that a new field is actively explored. The number of results and the variety of concepts introduced make the task of giving a general view on the subject an almost Herculean labor (see the papers of Rockafellar and [ 47 , 59 ]). Therefore we intend to restrict our attention here to the relationships between convergence notions, which have recently emerged, and to generalized derivative concepts.
