SIGNATURES AND SHORT HANDWRITING RECORDS MADE WITH THE HELP OF TECHNICAL TECHNIQUES AS AN OBJECT OF A COMPREHENSIVE FORENSIC INVESTIGATION

The article carries out a scientific analysis of the problem of researching signatures and short handwritten notes, made with the help of technical techniques and means, and suggests ways to improve the implementation of these studies.It was established that the forensic investigation of small handwritten products (signatures and / or short handwritten notes) performed with the help of technical techniques and means belongs to the complex, complex and integrative tasks of forensic handwriting examination.The analysis of the specified handwriting objects, performed with the help of technical techniques and means as objects of forensic research, made it possible to ascertain the controversy of scientific views on the definition of this method of forging the specified type of handwriting objects, as well as the classification of this type of research into a certain type of forensic examination.At the same time, the necessity of using a complex approach to the study of small handwriting objects made with the help of technical techniques and means has been proven.Arguments are given that the conclusion about the authenticity of the relevant handwriting objects can be made only as a result of a joint evaluation of the data of technical and handwriting studies.A certain part of the signs characterizing inauthentic objects of writing, in particular those related to the establishment of the method of their application, are revealed by specialists of the forensic examination of documents, while the other part of them is caused by the significant influence on the performer of artificial confounding factors associated with deliberate changing one's own handwriting when executing a handwriting object on behalf of another person and setting to reproduce his handwriting skill, is revealed exclusively during handwriting research.It is noted that the active use of modern scientific and technical achievements by criminals for the production of № 12(40) 2024 20 forged documents and their details requires the development of new research methods in the field of handwriting and document studies.
