In modern healthcare, the demand for innovative solutions to alleviate the workload of medical staff and enhance patient care is ever-growing. This paper introduces Nursebot, an intelligent robotic system designed for medical purposes within hospital settings. Nursebot integrates a line-following robot platform with a 330 robotic arm controlled by an Arduino Uno and ESP8266 microcontroller. Mounted on the robot are vital sign sensors, including a pulse sensor and a temperature sensor, facilitating real-time patient monitoring. Utilising a mobile application interface, healthcare professionals can remotely access patient data collected by Nursebot, ensuring timely intervention and personalised care. Moreover, Nursebot is equipped with a tray to transport medications, enabling efficient delivery to patients’ bedsides. The primary objectives of Nursebot encompass reducing nursing workload, enhancing patient monitoring in isolated environments, and streamlining medication distribution processes.
