School Logo Recognition in the Campus Scene Using Yolov5 Deep Learning Algorithm

The school logo, as a staple sign of school culture and identity, plays a significant part in campus management and student safety. This paper studies the technology of school logo recognition in campus scenes based on the YOLOv5 deep learning algorithm, using the school logo of the author's institution as the research object. First, image data was captured and image enhancement techniques were applied to label and create a school logo images dataset. Then, the YOLOv5 algorithm, which has advantages in object detection tasks, was used to train the parameters and build a school logo recognition model. The experimental results show that this model demonstrates excellent school logo recognition capabilities in various campus scenarios, with high accuracy and generalization ability. The school logo recognition in campus scenarios presented in this paper provides direction for future model optimization and broader campus applications.
