Emerging ICT in accounting processes automation: literature review

The aim of the study presented was to determine the role of EICT solutions in the automation of accounting processes as well as their structure, based on academic publications in the field of accounting, found in reputable databases and published until 2024. Systematic literature review and bibliometric analysis were used as research methods. As a result of their application were answered the research questions relating to the main technical solutions used in the automation of accounting processes, the presence and structure of EICT solutions in the research, their structure, as well as the thematic scope and leading content of publications in the above-mentioned area, as well as the temporal scope and origin of the authors of publications in the field of automation of accounting processes.
