The development of AAV networking technology is leading to growing concerns about the security of AAV swarms. Due to the open-access communication environment, AAV swarms are highly vulnerable to attack means such as spoofing attacks and known session key attacks. Therefore, it is essential to establish how authentication and session key agreements can be achieved in large-scale AAV node networking and dynamic changes in the AAV swarm. A flexible and efficient authentication and key agreement (AKA) scheme is necessary to ensure the security of AAV swarms. This letter proposes an AKA scheme for AAV swarms based on the Latin square, which combines the BLS signature and ECDH algorithm. The scheme supports identity authentication and session key agreement in multi-AAV node networking and swarm dynamic changes. Theoretical analysis and experimental results demonstrate that the scheme can effectively resist various attacks. Additionally, compared to existing schemes, the computational and communication costs are significantly reduced.
