Method of the Surgeon's Hand Movements Tracking on the Laparoscopic Simulator for Pathological Tremor Detection

Method of surgeon's hand movement tracking during dynamic testing on the laparoscopic simulator for pathological tremor detection was developed. The experimental research in the laboratory of medical and biological research of the Department of Biomedical Engineering were conducted. The software module for tremor determination uses methods of computer vision for the color segmentation of hand markers during movements. The developed method can be used for diagnostics of movement disorders of medical staff in treatment and prevention facilities.
