Output Synchronization for Complex Networks with Multiple Output or Output Derivative Couplings

Jin-Liang Wang, Shun-Yan Ren, Huai-Ning Wu, Tingwen Huang · 2024

This chapter discusses the output synchronization problem of complex dynamical network (CDN) with multiple output couplings or output derivative couplings. It addresses the output synchronization for CDN with multiple output couplings by utilizing the inequality techniques. An adaptive controller is being developed to ensure the output synchronization of the CDN with multiple output couplings. An output synchronization criterion is derived for the CDN with multiple output derivative couplings on the basis of the Lyapunov functional method. The chapter investigates the output synchronization problem for the CDN with multiple output derivative couplings by using the adaptive controller. It gives two numerical examples and their simulations to testify the effectiveness of the proposed output synchronization criteria. Yu and Antsaklis discussed the output synchronization for a CDN by utilizing the event-driven control method under the assumption that every node is passive.
