Complex networks (CNs) have come into focus due to their widespread application in many fields. As everyone knows, a great number of the applications really depend on the dynamical behaviors, especially the synchronization of complex dynamical networks. This chapter proposes a new CN model with multiweights and adaptive sate couplings. It also proposes a sate feedback control strategy and suitable adaptive law, in order to ensure such network can reach finite-time synchronization. A number of researchers have discussed the H ∞ synchronization of CNs in recent years to weaken the influences of external disturbance. The chapter provides a sufficient condition to assure the finite-time H ∞ synchronization of the network with external disturbance. It discusses the finite-time synchronization and H ∞ synchronization for the CN with adaptive state couplings and multiple coupling delays, respectively. Finite-time synchronization not only can increase the synchronization speed, but also has better robustness.
