Businesses adopt microservices architecture to expedite their digital transformation efforts and cultivate innovation in their digital offerings. Nevertheless, the act of transferring architecture is complex and presents multiple obstacles for organizations. Problems emerge mostly due to a limited comprehension of microservices and a tendency to embrace fads without adequate assessment. This study aims to provide specific criteria for evaluating the readiness to transition from monolithic architectures to microservices. The assessment will be led by frameworks such as Technology-Organizational-Environment (TOE) and Human-Organization-Technology-Fit (HOT-Fit). The resulting criteria will function as a standard for assessing an organization's readiness before undertaking a migration of its systems.
