Traffic Scene Object Detection Based on YOLO Algorithm

Object detection in traffic scenes is a crucial focus of computer vision research. This paper analyzes the YOLO algorithm and its application in object detection in traffic scenes from four aspects. Firstly, it briefly outlines the object detection approach, discusses pros, cons, and enhancements in different YOLO variants. Secondly, it examines how the YOLO algorithm applies in traffic scenes, focusing on detecting vehicles, pedestrians, traffic signs, and lanes. In addition, it summarizes the commonly used detection standards. Lastly, it provides a summary and outlook on the object detection of the YOLO algorithm in traffic scenes.
