Network security and cryptography are crucial components in safeguarding data and communication in the digital age. Cryptography plays a vital role in network security by converting plain text into unreadable formats to protect confidentiality and integrity. As organizations generate vast amounts of data daily, ensuring secure data transfer over the internet becomes increasingly important, with network security challenges growing as society transitions to the digital era. Techniques such as encryption are used to protect enterprise information and communication from cyber threats, ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and accessibility of computer networks and data. Encryption and network security are employed to protect data stored in systems and exchanged over wireless networks, with cryptography utilizing various algorithms and approaches to secure networks and data effectively.
