With the increasing importance and scope of using Information and Communication echnology (ICT) elements in enterprise management, cybersecurity has become one of the important problems of today&s;s society. The security of IT systems, or more precisely, information resources, is a necessity due to legal regulations, but also due to the strategic importance of data, information and knowledge in the dynamically changing economic reality. The above-mentioned resources: data, information and knowledge, along with tools for their management, determine the competitive position of the organization. They influence the ability to adapt actions to current and upcoming events and circumstances. The issue of sustainable entrepreneurship is very important in this respect. The company does not operate in the moment, but in the long term. Therefore, it must manage information that not only concerns business activities but also relates to relations with the environment. This environment includes all current and potential customers – entities that may be interested in the product offering, as well as all others operating in the area of the business. Such a wide range of interests results from caring for the environment, social and geographical, as elements closely related to each other and that influence the company. Cybersecurity in this approach protects against negative impacts on social and natural relationships. The aim of the chapter is to present the importance and conditions of cybersecurity for the enterprise, especially in relation to its role in sustainable entrepreneurship.
