In this article, we present a mathematical simulation designed to calculate the errors associated with a public lighting measurement system. The system measures current through a shunt resistor and voltage using a resistive divider. Additionally, it calculates active power and total harmonic distortion (THD). To quantify uncertainties, the simulation considers factors such as offset and gain errors, temperature effects, and component parameter variations. Finally, we compare the results of the simulation with and without calibration, demonstrating a significant improvement in accuracy when calibration is applied.
