In the discipline of cryptography, multicriteria decision-making (MCDM) is applied to security-related decision problems. MCDM can help in making wise and sensible decisions, and cryptography is necessary to guarantee the confidentiality, integrity, and validity of information. In this chapter, we examine how to apply cryptographical methods in MCDM to improve the security and integrity of multicriteria decisions, highlighting the possible benefits of cryptographic technologies. Through adapting and creating cryptographic techniques specifically designed for MCDM environments, we reveal discoveries and advancements. Our results highlight the usefulness of encryption in protecting sensitive decision-related data and improving the reliability of MCDM conclusions. We offer directions for future research in this exciting area and address the consequences of our work, including how it may be applied to other areas.
