Ashutosh Bhatt, Pooja K. Joshi, Gaurav Aggarwal · 2024

Data logging for smart blind sticks was used in this experiment to track usage trends and device effectiveness. This data can be used to improve the design by adding more user-friendly features. Some data examples that can be logged by a smart blind stick device include Detecting Obstacles: The data collected by the obstacle detection sensors can be logged and analyzed to measure the device's performance in avoiding obstacles. GPS navigation: The device's GPS data can be tracked to track the user's movements and locations, which can be valuable for safety and security. Battery life: Data gathered on the device's battery life can be logged to assess how long the gadget lasts between charges charge as well as to uncover any problems that may be compromising battery performance. User input: User feedback received via the device's audio or haptic feedback system can be logged and analyzed to discover areas for development. The smart blind stick's data can be saved locally on the device or communicated to a central database for analysis. The user or carer can also access the data via a smartphone app or web interface, allowing them to monitor the device's operation and usage.
