The work presented in the chapter contributes towards an integrated approach to model the selection problem framework for the site selection of renewable energy sources (RESs) out of some available sources on the basis of sustainability parameters. The framework of RESs has been considered and structured in the form of T -spherical fuzzy information. Some new “ T -spherical fuzzy soft Dombi aggregation operators” are introduced with some important properties. Based on the score values obtained with the help of the proposed operators, an algorithm to solve the problem of source selection has been presented by providing a larger space for the experts who may include the parameterization feature of the imprecise information. Additionally, based on some empirical hypothetical data, a numerical example related to the problem of renewable energy source selection has been solved to demonstrate the presented methodology. The optimised method can be used for renewable energy–based site selection to establish EV charging infrastructures.
