Freeform Graphics

Curie Scott, Steve E. Hutchinson · 2024

Unless provided with ready-made materials, most facilitators need to design and plan their sessions. This is also true for any individual setting up a workshop, session, or programme from scratch. To this point we have offered suggestions such as using lines, clusters ( Chapter 1 ); different shapes ( Chapter 2 ); mapping ( Chapter 5 ); frameworks ( Chapter 6 ); and circles ( Chapter 7 ). For the novice facilitators experimenting with drawing, you may feel “safer” working with a particular physical or process-driven graphical format. However, the examples in this chapter use an unrestrictive, more open, or freeform structure.
