Small Value Claims and Digital Justice in Spain: Cost and Efficiency

Under Spanish law there are different possibilities for the claim of small value debts. This paper focuses on the recovery of non-contested monetary debts up to €6,000 and analyses the different existing possibilities to collect them, including costs. It also addresses the issue of whether the introduction of electronic communications with the courts will reduce these costs and indeed improve their efficiency.
