In an era of rapid change and uncertainty, organizations are increasingly adopting agile project management (APM) to remain competitive. This study examines the multifaceted adoption of APM across various industries, highlighting key challenges, such as cultural change, resistance to change, documentation gaps, and training needs—common barriers encountered during Agile transitions. We advocate for a hybrid project management approach that effectively combines Agile's adaptability with the structured documentation of traditional frameworks. This synergy not only enhances project execution but also fosters a culture of collaboration and innovation. In addition, we emphasize the transformative role of advanced digital technologies in facilitating Agile adoption, driving efficiency, and promoting seamless communication within teams. As traditional project management paradigms increasingly struggle to keep pace with the demands of a fast-evolving business landscape, this research demonstrates that the future of project management lies in embracing Agile practices and digital innovation. By advocating for a hybrid project management strategy, we highlight a pathway for organizations to enhance their resilience and adaptability, ensuring they thrive amid ongoing disruptions. This study invites readers to reconsider their project management approaches and consider the integration of Agile principles to unlock new levels of organizational agility and success.
