Harsh Solanki, Deepak Kumar · 2024

The technique of establishing the process of interaction between human and computer technology. The mouse is excellent invention in HCI (Human Computer Interaction) technology. Though wireless or bluetooth mouse technology is not completely device free. A bluetooth mouse has the requirement of battery power and connecting dongle. Presence of extra devices in a mouse increases the difficulty to use it. The purpose is to study if such menus, with practice, could support the development of autonomous gestural command sets. In this paper, we use hand gesture captured by web-cam instead of mouse, for natural and intuitive human-computer interaction. A palm detection model and hand landmark model. The result shows that this system can operate well so we can interact with computer using hand gesture instead using mouse.
