The Internet of Things (IoT) is enabling unprecedented levels of automation and connectivity across industries, but it also poses significant security threats that must be addressed to preserve a stable and secure IoT ecosystem. In addition to stressing the urgent need for strong security measures at every tier of the IoT architecture, IoT security concerns and attacks are covered in detail in this article.Secure data transmission is required at the perception layer due to dangers including data insertion and eavesdropping. Strict security protocols are necessary because the network layer faces threats like packet injection and ARP poisoning. Firmware updates and secure provisioning are required by the support layer, which controls device connection and data storage. Strong security measures are crucial because the application layer, which handles client services, is vulnerable to threats like malicious code and data tampering.Throughout the IoT architecture, customized approaches are needed to address these security concerns. To ensure the reliability and durability of IoT networks, cooperative efforts are necessary for the development and application of efficient solutions. This study intends to contribute to a secure IoT environment that can meet the increasing demands of connected devices and systems by concentratingon creative security solutions at each level.
