This research introduces the Code Complexity Calculator (CCC), an advanced tool designed to measure software code complexity effectively by integrating the Improved CB (ICB) metric. Acknowledging the growing intricacy of software systems, the CCC addresses the need for accurate and reliable complexity measurements, overcoming the limitations of existing tools which often suffer from inconsistencies and unreliable metrics. By incorporating factors such as inheritance, type and nesting of control structures, statement size, threads, compound conditions, and recursion, CCC offers a detailed complexity analysis, fostering a deeper understanding of software structures and facilitating improved software development practices. The tool’s application extends beyond simple analysis, empowering developers to manage and optimize software systems efficiently, thus enhancing overall software quality and maintainability.
