Bashayer Hussain, Wael Mohamed Elmedany · 2024

Recently, the use of Internet of Things (IoT) is rapidly growing in different fields to facilitate communication between different devices in which sensitive data and information are transferred. This valuable information and communication have become the desired target for attackers and intruders. Therefore, the security of the IoT has become a serious demand in which various research, techniques, and technologies have been adopted to enhance IoT security, mitigate and reduce any kind of IoT attacks and threats. One of these technologies is Artificial Intelligence (AI). Many research has been conducted to investigate the role of AI in improving IoT security issues and developing appropriate solutions and countermeasures to address these issues in general. In this paper, we are conducting a Systematic Literature Review to provide an overview of conducted research about the different AI used to enhance IoT security issues as well as provide future direction for further investigation and research in AI contribution to Internet of Things Security.
