Cloud computing is a very efficient technique that is very helpful in storing and accessing data through the internet. With several features like scalability, reliability, on-demand access, and remote accessibility it also raises some privacy concerns for the important data. To address these concerns, blockchain technology provides a secure environment for user data. Hence, blockchain integrated with cloud computing helps to improve security in various application areas like healthcare industries, real estate, voting, financial sectors, etc. The review continues by underlining the requirement for additional research and potential opportunities for further advancements in this domain. This study provides a comparison study of current research based on multiple factors such as privacy, security, encryption methods, authentication, cryptography, and access control mechanisms. This underscores the need to incorporate blockchain technology into cloud environments to provide robust security measures. Some challenges are also discussed in this study that come with blockchain technology and in the future, more powerful or secure techniques can also be discovered in this domain.
