In today's pharmaceutical industry, a comprehensive system for monitoring the supply chain is notably absent. Consequently, there has been a proliferation of counterfeit medications circulating within the market, a problem that has escalated significantly in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. These fraudulent medicines not only violate the law but also pose severe risks to consumers, with the gravest cases resulting in fatalities. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), counterfeit and substandard medicines lead to an annual toll of over one million deaths, along with global economic losses amounting to 21 billion dollars.
