Soft frequency reuse for interference management in heterogeneous network

In this paper,soft frequency reuse (SFR) is introduced as an effective Inter-cell Interference Coordination (ICIC) scheme to overcome interference among femtocells and macrocells.While a macrocell allocates frequency band using a SFR map,femtocell chooses sub-bands which are not used by the macrocell sub-area users to avoid interference.Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can solve the problem of interference among macrocells and femtocells.
