AI-Based Security Solutions for Protecting Communication Networks

Pawan Kumar Goel, Varun Gupta · Advances in wireless technologies and telecommunication book series · 2024

This chapter explores the field of artificial intelligence (AI) security solutions designed with communication network protection in mind. Traditional security solutions become insufficient as cybercriminals' threats change the digital landscape. The limitations of the present methodology are revealed through a detailed review of similar research and existing approaches, emphasizing the urgent need for novel strategies. The suggested methodology combines anomaly detection methods, predictive analysis, and machine learning algorithms to improve real-time threat identification, reduce risks, and adjust to evolving cyberthreats. The chapter's conclusions demonstrate how effective AI-driven security frameworks can be in raising overall network resilience, decreasing false positives, and increasing threat detection accuracy. This research highlights the vital role of AI in defending communication networks against evolving cyberthreats, paving the way for future developments in AI-based security.
