The term communication refers to the transfer of information from one point to another for the purpose of exchanging information. Wireless communication signals carry the information in the form of electromagnetic, or optical, or sonic energies. In radio communications, the information is generated electronically at the source and transmitted to the sink wirelessly through electromagnetic radiation in space.
