In recent years Libraries stand to gain a lot from the use of blockchain technology, particularly in terms of increased efficiency, security, and transparency in a variety of operations. The primary focus of this paper is on the potential effects that blockchain technology could have on libraries. The review saw that blockchain can be used to further develop data security, increase straight forwardness and obligation, and work with capable resource splitting between libraries. It emphasizes the necessity of putting this cutting-edge technology into use by libraries in order to address the issues they face today, such as preserving privacy, making resources and information more accessible, and reducing costs associated with traditional intermediaries. The review also considers the growing number of blockchain-based pilot projects that libraries all over the world are using to improve service delivery models. Generally, this theoretical incites thought and reveals insight into how public establishments like libraries can utilize the expected abilities of blockchain innovation in the library.
