AI has been in use in various fields because of the enhanced advancement of this technology. However, this evolution also brings new security threats that call for new security measures. In this chapter, the author has focused on the analysis of the advancement of quantum cryptography and the machine learning to enhance the security of AI. Among the most promising are quantum key distribution and quantum random number generation, which ensure almost unassailable security; machine learning that can recognize and eliminate new threats as they appear. All these technologies increase the ability of the AI to cope with existing and new cyber threats. It is a literature review of quantum cryptography and machine learning that also includes the relationship between the two, the benefits, and drawbacks. Moreover, it also explores the possibilities for the future and offers particular examples of how this integration can be realised in real life. The chapter may be of interest to theorists and implementers who seek to increase the security of AI systems through the combination of quantum cryptography and machine learning.
