The Simulation of green cloud computing using load balancing of servers, has witnessed substantial progress in making cloud computing more environmentally friendly and efficient. Green cloud computing aims to mitigate the environmental impact of data centres, with studies underscoring the significance of employing energy-efficient approaches for resource allocation. Various load balancing techniques, including Round Robin and Least Connections, have been investigated, comparing their performance in terms of energy efficiency and resource utilization. Some strategies take into account both server load and energy consumption, contributing to the development of more sustainable cloud infrastructures. The utilization of simulation platforms such as CloudSim and GreenCloud has played a crucial role in modelling and analyzing the energy efficiency of cloud data centres. Recent trends in the project involve incorporating machine learning to dynamically balance server loads, enhancing adaptability to changing workloads and overall energy efficiency Task scheduling plays a pivotal role in maximizing resource utilization and minimizing energy consumption in cloud data centres. By intelligently scheduling tasks on virtualized infrastructure, green cloud computing aims to reduce energy consumption, carbon emissions, and operational costs while maintaining high levels of performance and reliability. Comparative studies, such as the benchmarking work conducted by Chang, contribute to the identification of effective load balancing solutions. Overall, the project is actively contributing to the advancement of greener and more efficient cloud computing, recognizing the importance of balancing environmental considerations with performance optimization.
