Microservices architecture, composed of independently deployable services, has gained prominence in the IT industry. However, designing and implementing effective microservice-based systems presents significant challenges. This research focuses on optimizing microservices architecture by integrating BPMN orchestration and agile methodologies. A workflow engine based on Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) is proposed to coordinate microservice interactions within an agile transformation context. This centralized control mechanism enhances monitoring, error handling, and system administration. The study evaluates the impact of BPMN orchestration on microservice efficiency and scalability. Results demonstrate that the proposed approach improves time-to-market, fault tolerance, and overall system performance. By combining advanced orchestration systems with agile processes, this research provides a framework for optimizing microservices development and deployment. The proposed BPMN orchestration approach offers a resilient and adaptable solution for building robust and scalable software systems.
