The exponential growth in the use of AR (Augmented Reality) and VR (Virtual Realm) has brought a revolution to various fields and modern life with innovative options that are interactive. AR and VR allow mixing reality and its artificial extensions, while the latter leads to becoming a part of virtual reality. Nevertheless, their incorporation increases cybersecurity challenges as malware and breaches of personal data constitute the most important risks within this context. To face these threats the strategies comprising encryption and AI-based detection should be adopted. Security gates, user education, and cooperation will be key in getting the technologies of AR and VR responsible and sustainable amid hacks exploiting privacy along with ethical problems.
