윤희영 · 2024

This study utilized BIGKinds, a media big data analysis service provided by the Korea Press Foundation, to examine the evolution of key issues in e-commerce over the past five years. The analysis revealed that, despite a global decrease in trade due to the impact of COVID-19, e-commerce sales have increased compared to the previous year, demonstrating remarkable growth despite the pandemic-induced disruptions. Additionally, a detailed examination of e-commerce issues was conducted through news network and word cloud analyses, highlighting changes in people, institutions, and locations on an annual basis. The study also analyzed the changes in key e-commerce keywords over time, focusing on their weighted significance and frequency. Given the rapid development and high temporal sensitivity of e-commerce compared to other fields, this research analyzed trends related to e-commerce events and issues based on media big data. This approach not only provides a current assessment of important e-commerce issues but also serves as an exploratory study for identifying future research topics.
