The disconnecting switch is the most indispensable primary equipment in the substation system, and whether it can operate with low defect failure rate and high health is directly related to the stability and reliability of the whole power grid. Among them, in the traditional disconnecting switch closing fault analysis method, the switch state is analyzed by a single characteristic quantity, which leads to certain leakage and misdetection problems in the monitoring results of the fault. For this reason, this paper proposes the isolation switch closing contactor fingerprint image feature point time series extraction algorithm, which aims to study the isolation switch closing contactor as well as the control motor current high-frequency transient waveforms and features, construct the high voltage isolation switch opening and closing process characteristics based on electromagnetic transient characteristics of the mathematical model of the physical quantities, extraction and separation of the knife switch switching action process motor feature fingerprints. After testing, this method is used to change the motor power compared to the normal state when the disconnecting switch has a hidden danger of institutional failure.
