With the increasing network size and rapid growth of network traffic, a single software-defined network controller is no longer able to meet the reliability and scalability issues facing network management. In the current environment, network management has become more complex and requires more robust solutions to meet the challenges. Therefore, software-defined network load balancing control techniques for microservice architectures have emerged. Based on different load balancing algorithms, incoming requests are distributed to different service instances according to load balancing policies. In addition, load balancing techniques can help microservice architectures achieve horizontal scaling by increasing or decreasing the number of service instances to cope with changes in system load. According to the experimental results, even in large networks, using this control software-defined network load balancing control method can shorten the length of the control path and keep the controller load low. This means that the microservice-oriented architecture can manage the network more effectively and ensure the efficiency and stability of network transmission.
