The Development Path and Implementation Challenges of Integrating the Metaverse into International Chinese Language Education

The metaverse is not simply a technological form, but exists as an idea and concept. It requires the comprehensive integration of diverse new technologies, such as 5G, 6G, artificial intelligence, and big data, to achieve a high degree of integration between virtual and reality. Exploring the application of metaverse technology in international Chinese language teaching is of crucial value in promoting the digital transformation process of international Chinese language education. The immersive experience of the metaverse provides a new form of education for international Chinese language education, which involves the co-occurrence of time and space. However, in the process of integrating the metaverse with international Chinese language education, a series of key issues still need to be carefully addressed, such as bottlenecks in information technology and challenges in balanced distribution of educational resources.
