While digital technologies and artificial intelligence present opportunities to increase citizen participation, they also present obstacles, such as the digital divide, disinformation, and privacy concerns, even though they improve engagement, information access, and policy involvement. This study evaluates the effects of AI-driven digital government initiatives on democratic inclusivity and examines how they can increase citizen participation. It is found Artificial intelligence has the potential to greatly increase citizen participation and digital government efficiency, resulting in a more inclusive and responsive democracy. Opportunities to enhance openness, democratize decision-making, and involve the public will grow as AI develops. But it's important to take into account potential downsides like power concentration, ethical dilemmas, and privacy concerns. Legislators and technologists alike must place a high premium on ethical standards, inclusivity, and integration issues to ensure that artificial intelligence (AI) fosters a more equitable and inclusive democratic process.
