Taiwan is the world&s;s number one country in terms of productivity of car lights, and rear lamps are the essential items for the car bodies. Their functions are not only warning lighting, but also need to balance safety, visibility, and durability. Many car manufacturers are committed to integrating corporate brand features and the most advanced technology with car lights and conducting series designs to enhance brand competitiveness. However, since the lights of commercial vehicles do not have the restrictions of vehicle body sheet metal, the same type of lights can be installed on different models, and their application is wide. Therefore, this study takes commercial vehicle rear lamps as the research target. First, consult with the lighting experts from Taiwan&s;s largest commercial vehicle lighting company to confirm the appropriate timing for GenAI introduction and construct a GenAI design process based on different GenAI software characteristics. After that, look for 3 car lighting designers and 3 designers from non-car lighting fields to collaboratively use GenAI software to conduct process testing. Finally, look for 10 entry-level designers to verify the GenAI design process to confirm the feasibility and effectiveness of the process. The results of this study confirm that there are three optimal timings to introduce GenAI, and there is a specific GenAI software that is suitable for each timing. In addition, this research process is very suitable for some enterprises to train their new staff and can shorten their development time for the enterprises.
