Modeling and Analysis of Secure Blockchain-Driven Self-Organized Decentralized Wireless Sensor Networks for Attack Detection
Vasily Alekseevich Desnitsky, Alexey Meleshko · 2024
The paper examines issues of modeling and analysis of self-organized decentralized wireless sensor networks (WSN) and attacks on them. The object of the study is a WSN with decentralized functioning based on the roles of nodes and providing secure data storage in the network by using blockchain. The paper reveals the essence of the proposed approach to modeling and analysis of self-organizing decentralized WSNs. In addition, we present an analysis of possible current types of attacks aimed at this type of networks and exploit the properties of network decentralization. The proposed approach is evaluated on an example of a model of connected unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) for solving problems of atmospheric air monitoring, where the issues of secure decentralized operation are getting especially crucial.
