Assessing the Role of Trust & Perceived Enjoyment in VR/AR Based Banking Using TAM
Rashmy Moray · 2024
The study investigates the role of trust (T) and perceived enjoyment (PE) as factors influencing the VR&AR banking environment. Employing the technology acceptance model framework, the study aims to analyse trust and PE as exogenous variables, that shape users' acceptance and use of immersive technologies for banking services. Primary responses were collected through a structured questionnaire from the prospective adopters who prefer to use VR&AR based banking. Data was modelled using PLS-SEM and the results indicate the significant role of (T) dynamic and insignificant influence of (PE) on perceived usefulness impacting the prospective adopters’ intention to use metaverse banking. The study contributes profound understanding of extended TAM elements that motivate people to avail metaverse banking and offers a distinctive perspective paving path for future research in the field.
