There is an interlink between various activities and risk factors of the body and the occurrence progression of numerous diseases. In particular, cotton wool spot, white ring around iris are important indications of expanded cardiovascular risks. Many infectious diseases such as HIV, bartonella enslave, leptospirosis or else diseases that causes in a bacteremia or fungal infections also may cause cotton-wool spots which can be detected from eyes. Besides this high cholesterol may cause white ring around iris and also can cause deposition of fatty, yellowish lumps around the eyes. The whitish ring around Iris also indicates that the patient may have chances of stroke. The abnormality in cup to disc ratio of eye is a sign of glaucoma which means that the nerves which are connecting eyes to brain are being damaged. Glaucoma causes high eye pressure and may cause blindness also. And yellowish eye indicates that the person may have jaundice. Thus, eye is a window to our body and various changes within eye may lead us towards a non-contact type diagnosis of various diseases. This paper presents a technique of non-contact type diagnosis of various diseases through eye scanning. The patterns like cotton wool spots, white ring around iris, abnormality in cup-to-disc ratio, glaucoma and yellowish eye have been classified. An algorithm has been developed using K-means algorithm, in this paper for clustering of patterns. The paper also reveals a possible hardware set up for the eye scanner so that maximum relevant data can be collected.
