A Minimum Means of Creating 2 D Entropy for Image Multi-Value Segmentation

To solve image multi-value segmentation puzzle, a novelty means was presented according to the general steps create 2 D entropy in this article. In this means, the 2 D gray-level distribution was generated through requiring the center element's gray-level and minimum gray-level of rest four neighborhood elements in the same 4-neighborhood, by contrast with well-known algorithm, test effects of proposed means on nearly entire Matlab images in image processing toolbox, demonstrate that much more detail information about concerned objects is retained, and noise can become weaker without missed any key contour information.
