Deep learning, a subset of artificial intelligence, is revolutionizing cancer research by unlocking insights from complex biological data. Leveraging neural networks, researchers can analyze vast datasets to identify patterns and predict disease progression. Applications span genomics, transcriptomics, methylation, and histopathology, enabling the integration of diverse data types for comprehensive cancer understanding. This review explores the potential of deep learning in cancer diagnosis, treatment planning, and prognosis prediction. While promising, challenges such as data accessibility and model interpretability hinder widespread adoption. Addressing these limitations is crucial for realizing the full potential of deep learning in precision oncology.
